Paul X Lab is an independent incubator for software. Nothing here begins with code. It begins with research: weeks spent mapping the industry landscape, finding where the real friction is, and scoping the one wedge worth building.
Both products came from that groundwork. Pixie Space grew out of two years in technical designing and the automation of an industry workflow that takes hours of expert labour to iterate per batch, close enough to the CAD incumbents to see the pain points from the inside. Caravan came from years of living with architecture chosen long before, with no authority to change it or even to debug it.
Once the target is clear, the build is fast. Caravan went from idea to a working compiler running on real cloud infrastructure in two weeks. Pixie Space reached a usable 2D CAD canvas in its first month. Both are public, and both are still being built on.
